Edebé Audiovisual and Zodiak Media’s Tele Images are collaborating on I, Elvis Riboldi, an animated show meant for children between the ages of 8 and 12.
I, Elvis Riboldi is inspired by the book series penned by Daniel Cerdà, Jaume Copons and Ramon Cabrera and illustrated by Òscar Julve. The 52×11-minute comedy, which is being developed by Edebé alongside Wuji House, Alla Kinda and Insome Studi, follows the adventures of a trouble-making boy and his friends. It is being partially financed and represented in French-speaking territories by Tele Images Productions.
“In a market saturated with kids’ content, you need a whole lot of originality and disruptive power to stand out. And this series has all the ingredients to become this powerful, fresh content that modern kids are asking for,” said Iván Agenjo, the audiovisual manager at Edebé and executive producer of the project. “This is a first step in the relationship between Edebé and Tele Images, but we hope we can both engage in further collaboration around this show.”
